About Pom-Pie

Pom-Pie is more than just a bakery; it’s a passion project born from a journey through New Zealand. Fons & Lucy van der Meij were inspired by the art of crafting savory pies and quiches, leading them to establish Pom-Pie in 2007. With a background in butchery and culinary arts, Fons brings a unique touch to every recipe. Our bakery in Rijnsburg is where the magic happens—handcrafting each pie with the finest ingredients, from 100% beef to fresh vegetables and homemade chutneys. We’re proud to be the only pie maker in the Netherlands certified by SKAL and FSSC 22000, ensuring our commitment to quality and sustainability.

  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate effectively with our small, passionate team.
  • Have a Positive Attitude: Approach tasks with enthusiasm and a can-do mindset.
  • Possess Strong Communication Skills: Engage with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Be Physically Able: Comfortable lifting and moving products and equipment as needed. Drivers licence required.
  • Have Flexibility: Willingness to work some weekends or evenings to accommodate market schedules.

Prior experience in food handling or event support is a plus but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: Hourly wage to be discussed during the interview.
  • Flexible Hours: Part-time schedule that can fit around your commitments.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Experience the full spectrum of bakery operations and customer engagement.
  • Learning Opportunities: Gain insight into sustainable food production and event coordination.
